James Scott Golf My name is James Scott, Head PGA Professional of Camberley Heath Golf Club. My passion in golf coaching stemmed right from the get go in my golfing journey. Starting at a late age of 16, I fell in love with all things golf and especially becoming a PGA Coach. Prior to becoming a PGA Professional, I completed a degree in Exercise and Sport Health Sciences from the university of Exeter. The knowledge I’ve gained from my degree and PGA qualification have helped me to become the diverse and adaptable coach that I am. 
 
Since my time of being a coaching I’ve worked with complete beginners who are just wanting to get out on the course all the way through to elite level amateurs playing off a +4 handicap. I get no greater feelings than helping any level golfer improve and enjoy the game more. My approach to coaching is to keep things simple - information overload doesn’t work with this game! 
 
To help golfers during their lessons I use Trackman and Video analysis to monitor and track their performance, and show factual evidence on what’s actually happening. The learning process doesn’t stop there either, all coaching sessions are summarised with commentary over a video of your swing so you don’t forget what was covered.
